Deployment pay do I get back pay?

I left feb 4th for Kuwait and didn't see anything on my check until march 1st and it was only a extra $225 on my check at that time.. I've been gone for 3 months and still have not received separation pay for my wife while I've been gone .. I went to finance here and was told to just wait until I get home in August to fix my pay.. Anyways my question is after I get back in August will I have back a dated check for feb since it took a month to receive anything? What should I expect to receive when I get home I was also told I would not be receiving any type of per deim since I am staying in dorms in kuwait and not a hotel ? Its my First deployment and I'm just trying to make sure everything is right..
